I’m back with another CASEing the Catty Design Team Hop, this week we are CASEing projects from the Artisic Expressions page of the BRAND NEW Annual Catalogue.

No photo description available.

I chose to CASE the colour combination of this card from page 123. This colour combo used Seaside Spray, Crushed Curry, Gray Granite and Shaded Spruce. I swapped the Very Vanilla for Whisper White and I included some Vellum.

No photo description available.

For my card, I have used the Artistic Impressions Stamp Set and the coordinating Springtime Impressions Dies.

I started off my card with a Seaside Spray card base, then I cut another piece of Seaside Spray into a square. I also cut a piece of Vellum to fit the width of the card front.

I die cut the flowers from the Springtime Impressions Dies out of a piece of Seaside Spray Cardstock. I stamped and double stamped the group of flowers onto the Seaside Spray square in Seaside Spray ink.

I Stamped two large flowers and one small in Crushed Curry ink and stamped off Crushed Curry ink. I did the same with another large flower in Seaside Spray ink and the leaves in Shaded Spruce ink. I fussy cut all the flowers and leaves.

I stamped the sentiment in Gray Granite ink onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, then punched it out with Everyday Label Punch. I started to assemble, I adhered the Vellum to top, the flower die cut (adhering the longest part at the top) both with Tear & Tape Adhesive. I adhered the Seaside Spray square with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I the flowers and sentiment with either Stampin’ Dimensionals and Tear & Tape Adhesive. I trimmed down the flower die cut. Finally, I tied a piece of White Linen Ribben, from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack, into a bow then adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot.

Thanks for stopping by, next up is Simone Bartrum.

I hope we have inspired you to CASE projects from the Occasions Catalogue. So, please join us over on our Facebook Group.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,

Lauren

  1. The seaside spray looks so happy with these colours. Great card and brilliant idea to case the colours.
