CTC231: CASE Anything

Welcome to the last week of CASEing the Catty of the Current Annual Catalogue and Occasions Catalogue, before it ends tomorrow!! This weeks challenge was super simple, CASE anything!!

I chose to CASE this card from page 164 in the Annual Catalogue, I wanted to be able to use some more of my Vellum from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper. I loved the use of the die cut with the Stampin’ Blend wash in the background.

As I said above, I used the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper, pairing it with the Abstract Impressions Bundle.

I started off with a Mossy Meadow card base, adhering a piece of Vellum from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

Then I die cut out a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the second largest Rectangle Stitched Dies. I also die cut out two butterflies from the Springtime Impressions Dies, die cutting one in Fresh Fig Cardstock and another in Petal Pink Cardstock.

I took my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers, and scribbled over the piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I adhered the two butterflies together, with Mini Glue Dots. I went over the top butterfly with Clear Wink Of Stella, colouring the body and inner part of the wings.

I adhered the butterfly to the Whisper White piece with Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Then I stamped the sentiment, from Abstract Impressions Stamp Set, on the bottom of the same piece of Whisper White, in Mossy Meadow ink.

Finally, I adhered the piece of Whisper White, with Stampin’ Dimensionals and attached three Lemon Lime Twist flowers, from the Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

This is the last stop for this weeks hop, but if you joined part way thru there is still more to see, next up is Siobhan Fitzsimmons.

I hope we have inspired you to CASE projects from the Occasions Catalogue. So, please join us over on our Facebook Group.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,

Lauren
