I’m back hopping along with the ESAD group again, this time we’re featuring products from the brand new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Catalogues. If you’re starting here or joining me from Monique Fielder, Welcome.
Here is a little info about ESAD…
For my stop on the hop today I wanted to create a set of three cards, one for each of the different levels of crafter, Beginner, Casual & Avid.
For three cards I have used the Piece of Cake Photopolymer Stamp Set and for the Casual and Avid crafters I have included the coordinating Cake Builder Punch. This bundle was so beautifully demonstrated at Onstage in Brisbane by Lou Kitzelman and that’s why I picked it up.
For the Beginner Crafter: This card starts with a Whisper White card base. Layering on top a piece of Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, adhering with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
I stamped the cake and stand in Memento ink onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Then I took the Subtles Stampin’ Write Markers to colour the cake and stand. I coloured in some of the flowers and cake stand with the Highland Heather Stampin’ Write Marker, the rest of the flowers in Balmy Blue marker and the Leaves in Soft Sea Foam marker. Then I inked up the sentiment with the Highland Heather Marker and stamped it underneath the cake. Finally, I adhered the cake and sentiment piece to the card front with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Product Tips: When I was starting I loved the Marker collections because you can use them not only to colour in images, but to ink up stamps and also for writing.
Supplies Used:
For the Casual Crafter: I again used a Whisper White card base. I layered on top a piece of 2018-2020 In Color Designer Series Paper in Lovely Lipstick, adhering with Tear & Tape Adhesive. I stamped the cake and stand in Memento ink. Colouring it in with the Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Write Marker from the 2018-2020 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers.
I punched the cake and stand out with the Cake Builder Punch. I stamped the sentiments in Lovely Lipstick ink. I used my Heat Tool to make sure the ink was dry. I adhered the cake with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the piece of Vellum. I adhere the Vellum with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Supplies Used:
For the Avid Crafter: Once again I used a Whisper White card base. Then layered on top another piece of Whisper White Cardstock that I have run thru the Big Shot with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I adhered the piece of Whisper White to the card front with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
I took a piece of Vellum that was left over from the previous card and coloured it in with the Pineapple Punch marker from the 2018-2020 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers. I used the Heat Tool to dry the Vellum. I stamped the cake and card stand in Memento. Then coloured it in with the Pineapple Punch and Grapefruit Grove markers (from the 2018-2020 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers).
Finally, I adhered down the piece of Vellum with Tear & Tape Adhesive and the cake and stand with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
