CTC261: CASE the SAB Catty – Week 2

I’m back with another CASEing the Catty blog hop post. This week we are continuing to CASE projects from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue. And as always if your starting here or joining me from Siobhan’s Blog, WELCOME!

For my card, I decided to CASE the card found on page 13, in top right corner. For my CASE, I have changed up the stamp set to the Pop of Petals Stamp and I would have used the Four-Petal Flower Punch… if I could find it.

I started off by preparing my card base, Whisper White Cardstock base (5-3/4″ x 21cm) and a second layer of Pineapple Punch Cardstock (3-7/8” x 5-1/2”).  I Stamped two flowers in Pineapple Punch on Whisper White Cardstock and two onto Pineapple Punch Cardstock.  Then three flowers in Lovely Lipstick onto Whisper White Cardstock and three onto Lovely Lipstick Cardstock.  Then fussy cut everything out but I would have used the punch if I had it.

I stamped the background, the large flowers in Pineapple Punch, the cluster of flowers in Lovely Lipstick and the leaves in Call Me Clover.  I also stamped the sentiment from the Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set in Lovely Lipstick.

I adhered the Pineapple Punch piece to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then adhered all the flowers with the same liquid glue.  And finally, I put the finished touches by adding some Gold Faceted Gems.
