I’m back with another CASEing the Catty blog hop. This week we are CASEing layouts found on page 101. And as always if your starting here or joining me from Bec’s Blog, WELCOME!
I took inspiration the card on the lower left the one with the elephants. I decided to use the Dinosaur Designer Series Paper and the Above the Clouds Bundle.
I started off my card by preparing card base and cardstock, I used a Coastal Cabana Cardstock for the card base plus a second piece for the second layer. I then took the piece of Dinosaur Designer Series Paper and started punching out with the Tailor Tag Punch. I started to adhere with Tear & Tape Adhesive onto the second piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock, trimming off and filling in the gaps with the off cuts.
Then I die cut out the largest die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies from a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I stamped the three little solid balloons in stamped off Coastal Cabana ink, then stamped over the top with the little outline balloons in Coastal Cabana ink. I stamped one large solid balloon and basket in stamped off Pretty Peacock ink, them stamped over the top and a second separate one of the outline large balloon in Pretty Peacock ink. Then punched everything out with the Hot Air Balloon Punch. I adhered the two balloons to the label die piece with Tear & Tape Adhesive. I stamped the sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink, punched out with the Classic Label Punch. Then adhered it with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
I didn’t have one solid piece of Vellum, but then what’s better then one piece but three random sized pieces of Vellum, I adhered them to the back of the label die with Stampin’ Dimensionals and trimmed them down. I took a piece of ribbon from the Magnolia Lane Combo Ribbon Pack and adhered a piece between the label die piece and the Vellum. I twice wrapped a piece of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine around the top of the label die piece. I adhered the label dies to the punched layer with Tear & Tape Adhesive. The punched layer onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. And last but not least, don’t forget those balloon baskets which I adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I would never have dreamed of putting that DSP with the those stamps but they are amazing on your card. I can just picture floating over a tropical island or jungle away from the world.
