CTC224: Favourite Occasions Big Shot Projects

I’m back for another wonderful CASEing the Catty Design Team blog hop… This week we are CASEing projects from the Classic Garage pages of the Occasions Catalogue. So if you’re starting here or joining me from Elizabeth Gross, welcome!!

This week, I decided to CASE this card from page 9. I loved how they have layered the die cut and the flowers with the sentiment.

I started off the card with a Poppy Parade card base, then stamped the Cracked Paint background in Poppy Parade ink onto a second piece of Poppy Parade Cardstock.

I die cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the Filigree Thinlits Dies, trimming it down to two small filigrees across by four down. Then adhere that piece to another piece of Whisper White Cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the large flower from the Petal Palette Stamp Set in Memento ink twice onto a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock. Then use the Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers. I fussy cut out the two sets of flowers, (alternatively you can use the coordinating die from the Petals & More Thinlits). The adhered it over the Florentine die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment, from Stitched All Around Stamp Set, onto a piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock, in Memento ink. Then die cut it out with the coordinating die from Stitched Labels Framelits. I adhered down a piece of Braided Linen Thread, with Tear & Tape Adhesive, then the sentiment piece over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by, next up is Siobhan Fitzsimmons.

I hope we have inspired you to CASE projects from the Occasions Catalogue. So, please join us over on our Facebook Group.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,

Lauren
