CTC222: Sale-A-Bration

I’m back for another wonderful CASEing the Catty Design Team blog hop… This week we are saying goodbye to Sale-A-Bration with one final chance to CASE projects from the Sale-A-Bration Mini or the SAB 2nd Release brochure. So if you’re starting here or joining me from Julie Quinn, welcome!!,

This week, I decided to CASE this card from page 12 of the original SAB Mini. I love all the layering of elements and the texture from the embossing.

For my card, I decided to feature the Petal Palette Stamp Set and the coordinating Petals & More Thinlits and Petal Pair Embossing Folders.

I started off my card by stamping the flower in Memento ink onto a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock. Colouring in the flowers with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo and the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Combo. Then I stamped three of the single flowers in Flirty Flamingo ink then went over the edges with the Daffodil Delight Light Stampin’ Blends Marker.

I used the Petals & More Thinlits Dies to cut out all the flowers. I also embossed a piece of Copper Foil Sheets and a strip of Granny Apple Green Cardstock with each of the Petal Pair Embossing Folders. I fussy cut out the Copper Foil Sheet embossing and cut it in half.

I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I stamped the flowers and leaves onto a Flirty Flamingo card base, in Flirty Flamingo ink.

I adhered the strip of Granny Apple Green Cardstock to the Whisper White piece with the sentiment on it, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered the two piece of embossed Copper Foil with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Then adhered the whole thing to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Finally I adhered all the flowers to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by, next up is Rebecca Scurr.

I hope we have inspired you to CASE projects from the Occasions Catalogue. So, please join us over on our Facebook Group.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,

Lauren
