I’m back for another wonderful CASEing the Catty Design Team blog hop… This week we are CASEing projects from the Gingham Gala pages of the Occasions Catalogue. So if you’re starting here or joining me from Judy May, welcome!!

This week, I decided to CASE this card from page 36. I loved how they have used the Burlap Ribbon to back the Rectangle Stitched panel. And I haven’t used my Burlap Ribbon in quite a while, so this was the perfect opportunity.

For my card, I went with Floral Romance Special Designer Series Paper and the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set.

I started off my card die cutting out the rectangle panel, I used the 5th largest (3-1/2″ x 2-3/8″) from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies, to die cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Then I cut four stripes of the Burlap Ribbon.

I stamped two sets of butterflies and all there bodies in Poppy Parade ink, the stamped the solid stamp of the whole small butterflies and the lower section of the large butterflies in Petal Pink ink, and finally, the upper part of the large butterflies in Flirty Flamingo. And punched all the butterflies out with the Butterfly Duet Punch.

Unlike me, stamp the sentiment in Poppy Parade ink, before you adhere the Burlap Ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals (Rolls eyes at myself). Adhere everything together with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Finally, I added a couple of Mini Glue Dots to the left side of the vellum just to secure everything.

Thanks for stopping by, next up is Tina Gillespie.

I hope we have inspired you to CASE projects from the Occasions Catalogue. So, please join us over on our Facebook Group.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,
