CTC204: Favourite Holiday Big Shot Project

I’m back today playing along with CASEing the Catty Challenge, CASEing our favourite Big Shot Project’s found in the holiday catalogue. I chose a project from page 10 of the Holiday Catalogue.

For my card I used the Eastern Medallions Thinlits and the Labels to Love Stamp Set.

I started off the card with a card base from the Gold Foil-Edged Cards & Envelopes.  Using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits, I die cut out the flower looking die, as well as the a die cut out the middle with a Layering Circles Framelit.

I took a piece of Graceful Glass Designer Series Vellum cutting it down to 3″ x 3″.  Colour in the back of the vellum with Night of Navy, Pool Party & Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo.  I adhered it to the inside of the card front with Tear & Tape Adhesive, then backed it with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.

I die cut the two small circle dies from Eastern Medellions and then die cut out the cirlces with Layering Circles Framelits, from Vellum Cardstock.  Stamp the sentiment from Labels to Love Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink onto a piece of Merry Merlot Cardstock.  Then punch out the sentiment with the Everyday Label Punch.  Punch out another Everyday Label Punch from a Merry Merlot piece of Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper, then cut it in half and adhered to the back of the sentiment piece with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

Adhere a piece of Linen Thread to the back of the sentiment piece with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  Adhere the sentiment piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Adhere the two vellum circles with Mini Glue Dots, tucking them under the sentiment piece.  Adhere a piece of Night of Navy Medium Baker’s Twine with a Mini Glue Dot, tied in a bow.  Attach three Rhinestones, I have used extras from the Timeless Tidings Project Kit.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,

Lauren
