I’m back today playing along with CASEing the Catty Challenge, CASEing Favourite Holiday Tags. I have chosen two tags from page 2 of the Holiday Catalogue.
I have used Labels to Love Stamp Set for my two tags.
For my first tag, I started with Cherry Cobbler base, layering on top a piece of Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper, adhere with Tear & Tape Adhesive. I punched a hole in the top of the tag with the 1/8″ Handheld Circle Punch.
I stamped the sentiment twice, once in Old Olive ink and another in Cherry Cobbler ink. I punched out the Old Olive sentiment in Everyday Label Punch. Then fussy out the ‘Christmas’ from the Cherry Cobbler sentiment, adhere over the top of the Old Olive sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Trim a piece of Burlap Ribbon and punch out 4 sets of sprigs from a piece Old Olive Cardstock with the Sprig Punch.
Adhere the Burlap Ribbon with Tear & Tape Adhesive, then all the Old Olive sprigs with Mini Glue Dots. Adhere the sentiment over of everything with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally, loop a piece of Old Olive Sheer Ribbon thru the punched hole.
For my second tag, I have used a 3×4 card that has been cut down from the Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Card Pack. I have backed the Memories & More card with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, to cover up the design on the back. I punched a hole in the top with the 1/8″ Handheld Circle Punch. Using the Big Shot and the second largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, to die cut a circle from another Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Card.
I stamped two versions of the sentiment, both in Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on to Shimmery White Cardstock. I watercoloured one version with Coastal Cabana ink and an Aqua Painter and the other with Bermuda Bay ink and an Aqua Painter. Then Punched out the Coastal Cabana sentiment with the Everyday Label Punch. Then fussy cut out the ‘Merry Christmas’ from the Bermuda Bay sentiment, then adhere over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere the stitched circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then adhere the sentiment piece with Mini Glue Dots. Finally, loop a piece of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine thru the punched hole.
Until next time… Happy Stampin’,
