JAI432: Just Choose Two

I’m back today, taking a break from my regular Flashback Friday post, to bring you a Just Add Ink challenge entry.  This challenge is Just Add Two, between Buttons, Bows or Bling.  I have chosen Bows and Bling.

I have gone with the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper and the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper, along with the Labels To Love Stamp Set, that I recently picked up in the It’s Our Birthday Sale.

I started off my card with a Very Vanilla card base.  I took a piece of Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper and cut out the second largest Stitched Shapes Framelits circles from it.  I took a piece of Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper in Copper and cut out the largest Stitched Shapes Framelits circle.

I adhered the main part of the DSP to the card front with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  Then adhered the glimmer circle over the hole with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I then adhered the DSP circle to the card front with both Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp two versions of the sentiment, one in Merry Merlot and the other in Tranquil Tide, onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock.  Punch out the Merry Merlot version with the Everyday Label Punch.  I fussy cut out the trees and the banner from the Tranquil Tide version, adhering over the top of the Merry Merlot version with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

Adhere some Copper Metallic Trim to the back of the sentiment piece.  Adhere the sentiment piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Finally, tie a piece of Braided Linen Trim in a bow, then adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,
