CTC201: Holiday Covers

I’m back today playing along with CASEing the Catty Challenge, this time CASeing projects from the Front or Back Cover of the Holiday Catalogue.

I chose a card from the front cover of the Holiday Catalogue to CASE.

I started off my card with Mint Macaron card base, layering on top two pieces of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, adhere with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

I die cut out a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I die cut out two ‘Happy’ dies from the Merry Christmas Thinlits, one from Tranquil Tide Cardstock and the other from Mint Macaron Cardstock.  I adhered them together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set, masking the ‘Happy’, before inking and stamping in Rich Razzleberry ink onto a piece of Grapefruit Grove Cardstock.

I adhered the stamped sentiment with Tear & Tape Adhesive and the ‘Happy’ onto the stitched circle with some more Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the stitched circle to a piece of Vellum Cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the Vellum to the card front with Tear & Tape Adhesive, hiding it behind the stitched circle.

Attach a paper clip from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit to the top right corner of the Vellum piece.  Tie a bow with the Tranquil Tide Baker’s Twine (also found in the embellishment kit) through the paper clip.  Secure the vellum in place with Mini Glue Dots behind the Paper Clip.

Finally, attach two strips of Pick A Pattern Designer Washi Tape at the top and bottom and three Pearl Basic Jewels around the card front.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,
