CTC200: Toil & Trouble Pages

I’m back today playing along with CASEing the Catty Challenge, CASEing projects from the Toil & Trouble pages of the Holiday Catalogue.  I chose a card from page 50.

For my card, I CASEd the Coastal Cabana watercoloured background and I swapped in Lemon Lime Twist  for Granny Apple Green.

I started off the card with a card base from the Gold-Edged Foil Cards & Envelopes.  Using an Aqua Painter and Coastal Cabana ink watercolour a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock.  Use the heat tool to dry off the piece of cardstock.  I stamped the swirl stamp from the Merry Christmas To All Stamp Set in stamped off Coastal Cabana.

I stamped the sentiment border in Lemon Lime Twist, then fussy cut out with Paper Snips.  Stamp the sentiment from the A Big Thank You Stamp Set in Berry Burst, I masked the sentiment with Washi Tape to stamp the sentiment on one line.  Punch a sprig from a piece of Tranquil Tide with the Sprig Punch.

Adhere the piece of Shimmery White Cardstock with Tear & Tape Adhesive to the card front.  Adhere a piece of Braided Linen Thread to the card front with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  Adhere the sentiment border with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, I cut them in half placing them along the long edge.  Adhere the sprig with Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  Then the sentiment over the top with more Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Trim the sentiment piece to size.  Using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen cover the sprig, and dot the glue around the card.  Use a Heat Tool to dry.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,

Lauren
