CI43: Color Challenge

I’m back playing along with Color INKspiration’s Challenge.  This challenge is using the 2018-2020 In Colors.

For my card, I decided to go with a Call Me Clover and Lovely Lipstick Wreath.  I used the Peaceful Noel Photopolymer Bundle.

I started off the card with the Silver Foil-Edged Cards & Envelope card.  Onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, I drew a circle in pencil around the second largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Stamp the leaf around the circle in Call Me Clover.  Go around the circle again with the same leaf stamp this time with stamped off Call Me Clover, don’t stamp over the top of the original leaf, stagger it.  (Hope that makes sense).  Stamp the second step stamp of the leaf onto the full strength leaves, stamping in stamped off Call Me Clover.

Using the Sprig Punch, punch out eight Call Me Clover sprigs and four Lovely Lipstick sprigs.  Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the sprigs, starting with the Call Me Clover.  Glueing the sprigs at 12, 3, 6 and 9.  Glueing another round of Call Me Clover sprigs lay them between the original sprigs.  Cut apart the four Lovely Lipstick sprigs, to create eight.  Glue the eight sprigs between each of the Call Me Clover sprigs.

Adhere the Whisper White Cardstock to a piece of Lovely Lipstick Cardstock with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  Tie a piece of Braided Linen Thread around the two pieces.  Stamp the sentiment a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, then punch one end with the Everyday Label Punch.  Adhere the wreath piece and the sentiment piece to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,

Lauren
