Flashback Friday: 18 February 2016

I’m back with another Flashback Friday, this time from 18 February 2016.  This card is created using all the colours in the Brights Family.  The revamp will look a little different with the colour revamp.

Here is the new version:

For my card I decided to go with flowers this time instead of balloons.  I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set.  I stamped two of the outline flowers in each colour from the Brights Family of Ink Pads (Two things I don’t have the entire collection of the ink pads so I substituted for the Brights Family of Stampin’ Write Markers + I also stamped two flowers in Pacific Point and by the time I went to put the card together I lost one… face palm).   I fussy cut out all the flowers with Paper Snips.

I adhered all the flowers to the card base with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I laid them out first to work out the spacing.  For the sentiment I stamped it in Pacific Point and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch, then backed it with a piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock that cut in half.

I love how this card turned out, it is super simple and a great way to show off a whole family of colours.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,
