Flashback Friday: 15th July 2015

For this weeks Flashback Friday I’m taking it all the way back to July 2015 and I was playing along with my very first challenge.  This challenge was with TGIFC and it was their 11th challenge.

Here is the original, this was when I didn’t own any tag topper punches so I think I used my handheld punch and my Envelope Punch board to round the corners.   The label was fussy cut out.  And did I mention that Blackberry Bliss had just been introduced as an In Color, I’m so glad it’s back.

Here is the revamp, I have featured the new In Color 2018 – 2020, Lovely Lipstick.

For my card I used a Lovely Lipstick card base, then layered a piece of In Color 2018 – 2020 Designer Series Paper in Lovely Lipstick.  Then I have a piece of Basic Black Cardstock punched out with the Starburst Punch.  I made the tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and tied a piece of Whisper White Solid Baker’ Twine.

I cut out the Thank You with the Thank You Thinlit Die in Lovely Lipstick.  I stamped out the sentiment from A Big Thank You Stamp Set in Lovely Lipstick and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch.

I really love how this recreation came out.  I definitely think that using an actual tag topper punch looks nice then my original.

Until next time… Happy Stampin’,
