Just For His & Hers

I wanted to try making a male and female card using the exact same products just changing the colours…  These cards use Sale-A-Bration products, Botanicals For You Stamp Set, What I Love Stamp Set and the Metallics Glitter Tape.  All items can be earned for FREE with each $90 spent in one order up until the 31st March.

For the his: I used the Pacific Point and the silver tape from the Metallics Glitter Tape.  I used two strips of the tape and cut the edges on an angle to make it look like a banner.  The … Because You’re Awesome stamp I fussy cut out… I have fallen in love with the tiny word sticker look.

The background I stamped tone on tone using the step two stamp from the What I Love Stamp Set.

For the hers: I used Rich Razzleberry and Gold from the Metallics Glitter Tape.

Until next time… Happy stamping,

#GDP023 | Theme Challenge

I’m playing along with the Global-Design-Project’s Theme Challenge: Balloons.

Lately I have really been into gradient/ombré effect so I came up with one card which turned into two cards.

Last week I used a lot sale-a-bration products so this week I decided to use some of the Occasions Catalogue product specifically products in the It’s My Party suite.

My first card I used different shades of blue, specifically Pacific Point, Marina Mist and Tempting Turquoise.

LM16-BC008
I stamped the balloon from the Party Wishes Stamp Set tone on tone and punched them using the matching balloon punch from the Party Punch Pack.

Stuck them on with dimensionals added sentiment stamped and matted on Pacific Point and called this card done.
My second I decided to use a whole colour family, going with Brights.

LM16-BC009
I changed the colour on each row of balloons to have a natural gradation.  I added in a sentiment in Melon Mambo and matted it using the Melon Mambo diagonal lines paper from the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack.
If you would also like to play along with the Global-Design-Project Theme Challenge this week. You must enter by 3pm AEDT next Monday.

Half-way Happiness | Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on the Eureka Stampers Blog…

Today Stampin’ Up! launches three new Sale-A-Bration Items and I am excited bring you two card projects using two of the new products and one from the original catalogue.  I used exactly the same products just in different ways.

LM16-BC006a.jpg

This first card I layered a piece of Bermuda Bay with a piece vellum from the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack.  I used the gold tape from the Metallic Glitters Tape and made it look like ribbon by backing the top piece with a strip of Bermuda Bay.  I used the Banner Triple Punch to fish tail the ends of the tape.

LM16-BC006b

I used the ballon stamp from the new Party Pants Stamp Set to stamp few times together and then two separately then I fussy cut them all out, I stamped the sentiment on one ballon.  Added some Clear Wink of Stella to some of the balloons to add more dimension.

LM16-BC007a

This second cards I chose a different piece of vellum also from the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack.  I stamped the balloons onto a piece of Whisper White Card Stock randomly in Bermuda Bay.  Also stamped two separate balloons and once again fussy cut them out.

LM16-BC007b

The sentiment is layered on top of all three of the Metallic Glitters Tapes.  I staggered their lengths and again used the Banner Triple Punch to fish tail the ends.  I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black on to a piece of Bermuda Bay.

I hope you’ve enjoyed stopping by to see my two projects featuring some of the SAB products.  You can check out the rest of what is on offer in the SAB catalogue and the new items on offer.  Sale-A-Bration items can be earned for FREE for every $90 spent in a single order.

It’s now time to hop on over to Heather McCarthy’s Blog (or hop back to Linda Whalley’s Blog) for more SAB inspiration.

Until next time… Happy stamping,

Lauren

#GDP022 | Sketch Challenge

Hi,

Today I am playing along with the Global Design Project’s Sketch Challenge.

On my card I used the Hello Stamp Set and the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper, which are both apart of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.  Although these products are unfortunately retiring on Monday.  So I you are interested in either of these products place a $90 order on or before the 15 February to earn one of these products.

I chose to use the Tempting Turquoise Marble effect sheet from the Perfectly Artistic DSP as the basis for my colour palette for the card.

TCTC #5

Hi,

Today I am playing along with The Colour Tree Challenge on addINKtive Designs.  I found this TCTC a couple of weeks ago and finally decided to a have a go.

This challenge was right up my alley as I love colour challenges.

So here is my card:

LM16-BC004.jpg

Yesterday I said that I find it hard to use just one stamp set on a card.  Well, that was until I met the Number of Years stamp set and the matching Large Numbers Framelits Dies, which can be bought separately or in bundle for $85.75.

Once again I used the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper which is in the
Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.  This DSP can be earned up until the 15 February for FREE with a $90 order.  I love this DSP, in the pack you receive 12 (2 each of 6 designs) 12×12 pages with one side being a marbled effect and the other watercolour.  This is the first time I used the marbled effect.

So if you wanted to play along with TCTC this challenge is open until this Saturday 13 February 7pm AEDT.

What I Love…Sale-A-Bration

Hi,

I am really enjoying trying and using all the new Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Catalogue.

One of my favourite stamp sets in the SAB Catalogue is the What I Love stamp set which you can earn for for FREE with any $90 purchase.  I have seen it used in so many different ways on social media.

IMG_6369.JPG

I very rarely use just one stamp set on a card because the stamp set doesn’t have the sentiment I require.  But I was making a Thank You card to send to a customer and decided to feature just one stamp on it.  Before I started this card I knew that I wanted to stamp the flower outline in black and then went from there.  I rarely use green on my cards and when I do I usually reach for Old Olive, but this time I used Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green.  I really like how the final card turned out.

Until next time… Happy stamping,

Lauren
